A sculpture garden to provide sanctuary & meta-luxury

Invited to take part design competition for Quasar’s Sculpture Gardens, Scape focussed on the creation of a space to fully immerse the guest experience.

Designed with the intention of freeing the user from the bustle of the surrounding city and relocating them to a tranquil & serene retreat, the gardens are intended to encourage the public during the day as well as hosting evening events.

Situated in a densely populated business district of downtown Istanbul, the development consists of two 40 storey towers rising from a four storey podium block. The project compliments the existing modernist building of historic significance and a two storey pavilion containing luxury retail units and dining terraces, overlooking the new urban green space. The first Fairmont hotel in Turkey will house one of the towers, together with branded office space and residences by Wilson Associates. The luxury private apartments opposite are conceived by the renowned Dutch designer Marcel Wanders.
