Cape Sounio

Athens, Greece

Accessing nature & history with exclusive spa design

Sensitively designed to be an extension of the indigenous Attic landscape, Scape provided Concept Design through to the Detail Design & Construction review.

Taking inspiration from the Sounio National Park which borders the resort, the new landscape both compliments and enhances the natural beauty of the site, while sensitively preserving the its historic fabric.

The luxury boutique spa sits across the stunning bay of Sounio overlooking one of the world’s most celebrated archaeological sites the Temple of Poseidon. Scape upgraded the accommodation to afford outstanding views of the temple and Homer’s “Sacred Cape”, dramatically increasing the visual & physical connection to the site’s historic heritage.
